The first print of 2026
Anonymous traces the complete analogue process, from exposing and developing a 4 × 5 negative to producing the final fibre-based darkroom print.
I would especially like to thank Tim Hall for everything he taught me about darkroom printing and its many secrets; Fred Newman for his guidance in developing FP4+ film; and Matthew Koller for the test printer—my design and his production.
