The singular
impression
Each work in this series is a unique print shaped by the encounter between ink, surface and pressure.
Unlike a repeatable edition, a monoprint preserves the marks and variations of a single transfer. Subtle shifts in texture, tone and gesture make each impression distinct.
The process allows room for both intention and chance. As the image moves from one surface to another, unexpected traces become part of the composition. Together, the works explore the tension between control and unpredictability, and the expressive possibilities of an image that cannot be reproduced exactly.
